Saturn-12, has proven to be one of the longest lasting, most durable marine ropes available, increasing residual strength as much as 15-20% when compared with other HMPE lines and their conventional coatings.
Since its introduction in 2010, Its proprietary coating improves abrasion resistance and has been enhanced for greater UV resistance. In addition, Saturn-12 is now made with Dyneema® SK78 fiber, the next generation in HMPE fiber technology. SK78 provides improved service life in applications where creep results from long-term static loads. This torque-free, flexible, and easy-to-handle construction is easy to inspect and splice in the field.
