Often, standard steel thimbles protect only the bearing surfaces of your line, leaving the back side of your eye exposed to wear, tear and abrasion.  Utilizing our urethane coating, the SWOS BTU-Thimble offers an all around protective cover to the contact and non contact points of your line, reducing cost associated with frequent replacement and servicing. The BTU-Thimble is often utilized within inland applications, protecting the synthetic surface that goes around the button on facing lines.  Made to order and readily available, the BTU-Thimble offers a wide range of protection for the 5/8-in. to 2-in. rope diameter range.
